Leopold Diaz Silberstein. entered this country. It resulted from a simple request by me to the Immigration and Naturalization Service to give me the number of Mr. Silbersteins original Portuguese passport. The Service refused my request. and so I requested an investigation. � I hold in my hand. Mr. President. hundreds of telegrams and letters from all over the United States. including South Carolina. which all support the investigation into the case of Mr.
