Session #84 · 1955–57

Speech #840042409

Assistant Attorney General Barnes. who is in charge of the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice. recently testified at a Senate hearing. that neither he nor Attorney General Brownell agree with all of the findings of the report. That in itself bespeaks to my mind of the honesty of effort and the fair consideration which each recommendation of the report will receive at the hands of the administration. There are many other aspects and ramifications of the SBA and its relationship to our economy that might be discussed. but time does not permit. It is always nice to meet with your excellent organization of smallbusiness operators. and Mrs. Hill and I have enjoyed this pleasant occasion. A Bill To Amend the Refugee Relief Act of 1953
