Mr. Speaker. one of the most remarkable developments in recent weeks has been the firing of Edward Corsi from his job. whatever it was. in the State Department. When this gentleman was appointed. Secretary Dulles called him the one man "best suited" to aid in the implementation of the refugee immigration program established under the Refugee Relief Act of 1953. Now he has been dismissed from his post and has been called everything from a security risk to a liar. Whatever the merits of the controversy as it has developed thus far. one thing is quite clear. Scott McLeod is not suited to administer this program either by temperment or by training.
