Many of them work very. very long hours. It may be that when the Senator was handling claims bills. he was able to get more done than the present members of the committee are able to do. but I submit the burden of work on the chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary and on every member of the committee is very. very taxing. because as to every one of the claim bills. even though assistants are provided. the claimants want so see committee members and be heard.
