Member of Parliament) I do not think there is any historical precedent for Israels extraordinary success in taking almost a million immigrants from all parts of the world and within a few years turning them into a nation. Where America was a melting pot. Israel is a pressure cooker. Defying every law of economics. her trade gap is still more than $200 million a yeara colossal sum for a country of only a million and a half inhabitants.
