He threw himself into the cause of liberty here in the New World. earning the gratitude of countless citizens who have flourished in the freedom he helped to establish. What practical things can we do to commemorate Kosciusko and the Polish people who have suffered so much for the cause of human freedom? First. we should liberalize our immigration laws to permit more persons of Polish descent to enter this Nation. Second. we must wage a vigorous program to keep alive the hopes for a democratic government among the Polish people by expanding our Voice of America. And third. we should promptly ratify the world genocide convention making it a crime against humanity and international law for any dictator to exterminate whole nations. races. or religions.
