I am satisfied their plight has not been forgotten by the people of our great country. but I am afraid that sometimes it is necessary to remind the leaders of our people that there still exists in the breasts of our people the burning fire that produced the original immigrations to this country. the Declaration of Independence. the Constitution. the Bill of Rights. the stirring speeches of Patrick Henry and other great patriots. This warmth in the breasts of the American people goes out to all the enslaved people of the world wherever they may be. Though we may not immediately share this warmth with our brothers. it is important that they realize the fire is there and that the time will soon come when tyranny has run its course and they shall again enjoy freedom.
