There is one very important thing that we can do with regard to diminishing the increasing influence of Communist Chinese among the millions of Chinese scattered through southern Asia and the islands of the Pacific. They are now sending their children by the tens of thousands to Red China to be educated. There is no greater menace to the future of Asia than this. These children have no other place to go. except at vast expense and through the difficulties of passport and visa troubles. In past generations they would have had other places to go. American friendship for the people of China led to the establishment of many institutions. both of middle and higher learning. supported by funds from Europe and America.
