Mr. Chairman. as has already been brought out. is the fact that this $100.000 is designed to help migratory workers. of whom there are approximately 1 million. whereas the appropriation of $1.5 million is to help farmers who are engaged in the employment of Mexican migrant labor. which number. I believe. no more than 250.000. I am impressed by the argument made by the gentleman from Pennsylvania to the effect that if we are going to take care of the Mexican migratory worker problem. we also ought to take care of the American migratory worker problem.
