May I add that it is our constant endeavor to arrive at peaceful solutions by mutual agreement with our neighboring countries with which we propose to live in amity and friendship. We realize only too well that discontent and chaos in countries nearby would adversely affect our own interests and hamper our progress. We have. like the United States and Canada. an unguarded frontier between India and Burma with whom our relations are cordial. Recently. we have had an agreement on problems of immigration with Ceylon. which is an evidence of mutual good will and will be an instrument of good neighborly relations in future. It is true that Indias relations with Pakistan have not been as satisfactory as they should be and. I have no doubt. will be.
