HENDRIK VAN DER TUIN The bill for the relief of Mr. and Mrs. Hendrik Van der Tuin was considered. ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. read the third time. and passed. as follows: Be it enacted. etc.. That. for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Mr. and Mrs. Hendrik Van der Tuin shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this act upon payment of the required visa fees. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such aliens as provided for in this act. the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quotacontrol officer to deduct two numbers from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available.
