I have read the very clear language of the Acting Commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization. The distinguished Senator may place on such statement any interpretation he wishes. I am not going into the question of semantics. I have read his exact statement. I think it is very clear and conclusive. I have no desire to preclude the Senator from Texas from coming to any conclusion or taking any position which he wishes to maintain. but. so far as I am concerned. I believe Ihave fully answered what I again characterize as the somewhat unkind comments of the Senator from Texas.
