The influx of subversives would continue to occur. The influx of wetbacks is not the result of the legal agreement we have made with Mexico. and will not be the result of the amendment. if it is agreed to. But the fact still remains that. according to the records which have been submitted by the Immigration and Naturalization Service. approximately 1.500.000 wetbacks are coming into the United States illegally every year. Of that number. it has been reported by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to the House Committee on Appropriations that 100 subversives are coming into the United States daily. I shall be very glad. indeed. to place that reference in the RECORD.
