Some of the recommendations follow: We recommend that(1) There be established a Federal Committee on Migratory Farm Labor. to be appointed by and responsible to the President. (2) The committee be composed of 3 public members and 1 member from each of the following agencies: Department of Agriculture. Department of Labor. Department of State. Immigration and Naturalization Service. and Federal Security Agency. (3) The public members be appointed by the President. One public member should serve full time as chairman and the other two on a parttime basis. The Government representatives should be appointed by the President on the nomination of the heads of the respective agencies.
