Speech #830115676

It must be that they fear the progress being made by the young Republic in spite of discouraging odds. Fear that this shining example of what can be done by selfhelp will expose the bankruptcy of their own leadership. and force reforms within their own nations which they do not wish to make. We do not avoid the problem of the Arab refugees. It can be solved. and when it is this issue which is also being used for political purposes will cease to be a point of conflict. I believe that the United Nations should take a hand in this matter and by providing funds for resettlement eliminate this tension. that is. if the Arab leaders will accept help for their own people.
