We know there are tens of millions of overpopulation in .this world today. I do not know what we are trying to do. so far as bringing people into this country is concerned. We have an immigration law. It is a sound law. It permits more than 200.000 persons a year to come to the United States from foreign countries. This bill superimposes upon the immigration law of the United States another 200odd thousand. If it is a program to relieve overpopulation. -why is it confined to a few countries in Europe? There is overpopulation in Israel. there is overpopulation in the Middle East. and in the Far East.
