Norway being one of the most Christian countries in the world. While the Evangelical Lutheran Church is the established religious body. all denominations enjoy complete freedom of worship. From the rugged Viking stock of Norway has come a great contribution to our own Nation. in the form of democraticminded. freedomloving immigrants who have settled in the United States and become sturdy. hard working. and talented patriotic citizens. They have meant much to the progress and development of the great State of Minnesota that I have the honor of representing. From out of their ranks have come some of our greatest leaders.
