That was a great contribution to the discussion of the bill. We have not discussed immigration. we have been discussing whether the Members of the opposition have read the bill. It is to be assumed that when a Member of this body speaks on a subject he has given some time to the consideration of it. Not only have I read the bill. but I have studied it for weeks. In fact. we have grown weary from our long hours of study. We have been debating the bill in the absence of the Senator from Nevada and in the absence of other members of the committee.
