There is room in America for their kind of people. There is room in America for people who qaalify under the standards of morality and health. economic wellbeing and devotion to democratic principles. There is plenty of room for them. We will need such people. Mr. President. No matter how one may look at it. a leavening of such immigrants is good for business. it is good for the strength of the Republic. it is good for production. and it is good for the health of our political economy. America is not poorer because of the more than 300.000 displaced persons who came into our country. We are richer.
