He is a sample of the sort of persons that the new bill would legalize coming into a DP camp. As I construe the bill. all one of these fellows would have to do would be to come into the camp and say that he fled from such and such a country because of Communist persecution. All he would have to say is "I am a political refugee." If he had no German blood in him. or had no German name. then the IRO would admit him. That is my Interpretation of the new act. and I believe that that is a reasonable interpretation. I want to address myself briefly to this question of discrimination again.
