Speech #810152200

Does the Senator regard the time granted for the discussion of this bill on the day it was reported from the committee as being adequate. that time having been set forth in the following excerpt from the minutes of the executive meeting of October 12. 1949. of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary: Senator FERGUSON moved that the committee vote at 10:50 a. m. on his motion to withdraw H. R. 4567 from the standing Subcommittee on Immigration and Naturalization. Senator DONNELL asked that the record show that at 10:38 a. m. Senator FERGUSONs motion to vote at 10:50 a. m. was put to a vote. which allowed him only the intervening time in which to speak on the motion to withdraw the bill from the subcommittee.
