I am sorry the chairman of the Appropriations Committee is not present at this time. but it was only after the distinguished Senator from Tennessee intervened and said that those children must be fed. that the appropriation which the distinguished Senator from Connecticut has mentioned was made and. for the first time. the money was provided.
