Let me present some information concerning a reception and entertainment held abroad the Radnik which was published in the Communist Yugoslav newspaper Slobodna Rec. Present at that Communist festivity were such notorious YugoslavCommunists as Harry Justiz. who is now under conviction for contempt of Congress. The Communist paper which I have cited reports that thousands of Yugoslav immigrants attended. and that the ship displayed the Communist flag of Yugoslavia with the wonderful Red star. symbol of liberty. fraternity and unity. Under the bridge was a huge sign reading. "Welcome. Immigrant Brothers." Let me impress upon the Senate the fact that this represents only a small part of the information which has been collected in the Immigration Subcommittee of the Committee on the Judiciary. This is only a fragment of the evidence which I have begun to present to the Senate to show that the Communist conspiracy in the United States is controlled by a foreign power. and that its activities are conducted by foreign agents who are sent here through legal and illegal channels. They use every facilityembassies. legations. and international organizationsto carry on their nefarious work. Under the present system. many of these persons carry on their work with immunity from our laws. The Immigration Subcommittee is now working out legislation to protect our people. our country. our Government from these untouchable agents. Mr. President.
