Speech #810076259

Chairman. I do not address the House often. and I hope I am not imposing upon your time and patience in discussing this bill. While I do not pretend to be an expert at all on immigration matters. it so happens that at this time I have served longer on the Immigration Committee than any Member of the Congress. I think this entitles me to express some views on this particular legislation. I shall not have time to develop all that to my mini is wrong with the present bill. but to begin with. it rewards the least deserving. the least desirable. and most dangerous of millions and millions of people who would like to migrate to this country.
