On page 9 of the able report of the committee are found these words: It is the intention of the International Refugee Organization to implement at an early date the resolution adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on November 17 and December 15. 1947. under the terms of which many nations have been urged to accept a "fair share" of nonrepatriable eligible displaced persons. On page 9 of the bill I find in section 6 this language: To procure through the United States representative to the International Refugee Organization the cooperation of other nations. So that the bill already provides what I have suggested. except it does not make it compulsory.
