It is proposed. on page 5. line 13. before the period. to insert the following: "and. except as otherwise provided in this act. to perform all the functions of administration and coordination necessary for the selection. and the transportation to and settlement in this country. of eligible displaced persons and eligible displaced orphans." On page 7. beginning with the word "but" in line 17. strike out down through and including the period in line 20. and insert in lieu thereof the following: "but the determination of eligibility of displaced persons and displaced orphans under the other immigration laws of the United States shall be by the officials who administer such laws."
