I was very much Interested in hearing the Senator from Wisconsin say in his speech that when he visited the displaced persons camps he found the Inmates working. clean. happy. joyful. and creative. I think that if we read the -record made by the committee wewill find that the same conclusion was * reached by: the committee. The reports of the International Refugee Organization indicate that these people have been able to maintain their family groups. even in the camps. The fact that they have held to their family groups. are -engaging in such employment as is. available. and their ability to hold morale during the years. Indicate that they have stability of character.
