This bill pending before the Committee of the Whole does not approach that subject. Its title is "Subversive Activities Control Bill. 1948." It comes from the Committee on UnAmerican Activities. That committee has no jurisdiction over legislation having to do with immigration and naturalization laws. Therefore. the Chair holds that the amendment is not germane.
