If America has not been sold to the world in the last 160 years. I doubt very much if $31.000.000 is going to sell it to the world now. For 100 years or more the people of the Old World have been coming to this land in such large numbers that 25 years ago .it was necessary to put the bars up to pass a law known as the quota law. They had heard about America. I suppose there are many Members on the floor of this House like myself whose parents both came from the Old World. long before the days of the War Between the States.
