I will say to the Senator that the 108.721 came in under the law. We have heard statements as to many entering illegally. It is stated that more have entered illegally than legally. Perhaps the Senator heard the statement of the able Senator from Idaho a moment ago quoting the Attorney General of -. the United States. whose department is charged with the administration of the immigration and naturalization laws. One of the very purposes of the statement I am making .today is to urgeupon the Congress an early and complete investigation and revelation of theentire situation. particularly as to illegal entries into this country.
