Can we afford to export large numbers of automobiles which are produced with a minimum of labor and take in return commodities which require much labor in their processing and fabrication? This issue is vital to every citizen. There is no question but what this problem is of vital concern to American labor. Our Nation has. through a restriction and control of immigration. protected the standards of living of the American workers. Should we now permit approval of legislation that will destroy the opportunities of the American workingman? The farmers of the United States are greatly concerned about their share of the foreign market.
