Speech #790048612

I will talk without any bitterness. I will concede that the sponsors of this bill are prompted by high motives. I shall speak for those who dislike bureaucrats and hate regimentation. I shall speak for those who hate socialism and love private enterprise. I shall speak for those who dislike the Ku Klux Klan and love tolerance. cooperation. and friendship. I shall speak for the alien. the naturalized citizen. the Jew and the Negro. I shall speak for those who love local selfgovernment. I shall speak for the merchant. the farmer. the newspaper. and for small business. all of whom are engaged in interstate commerce.
