Session #79 · 1945–47

Speech #790005281

Robert W. Kennedy. to the President of the United States and the Attorney General. Francis Biddle. relative to permitting the dropping ofthe deportation charges against Harry Bridges. It seems to me that if we permit these radicals to remain in this country. the first thing we know we will be taken over by them. It id time now. and I give you warning that if you do not do something to prohibit the radicals in this country from getting hold of this Government we are -going to be engulfed in the greatest calamity that ever happened to this Nation of ours and the things the boys are fighting for in Europe are going to be lost here at home.
