Session #78 · 1943–45

Speech #780193846

I appreciate the gentlemans contribution. too: We have supported the farmer many times. Sometimes we have felt grieved because some of the Representatives of the Farm Belt have not supported the requests made by the big cities. and there has been a little friction between the two groups. We had a hard time to explain that difficulty. I know that in my service in the House I have voted for the farmers. for flood control. for everything the f armers wanted. but I could not get the Representatives to see my way about uniting families of people who have been USE 4563 separated as a result of our immigration laws.
