I believe that in time of war we all have to be careful about hysterical acts of any kind. In my opinion the committee bill is well considered and although my colleague. the gentleman from California . has questioned the suitability of giving the Attorney General such power. and I have some doubts of it myself. I am sure that the formal renunciation which the Attorney General would prepare would be subject to review by a court of naturalization providing the person who signed it asked for such review. and. therefore. it would not be final. I also want to support the amendment offered by the gentleman from California [Mr. J.
