Session #78 · 1943–45

Speech #780156316

I supported the bill in the committee of which the gentleman is our distinguished chairman. I would be glad to join with the distinguished chairman of the Committee on Immigration and Naturalization and go before the Committee on Rules of the House at any time at which it may be done. and ask or request a rule from that committee to bring the bill out for consideration. and if it might not be possible to do that in the immediate future so that no particular time may be lost in getting the measure before the House and letting the House consider the bill.
