Are not there some that will agree with me that our participation in Africa and Europe is saving Russian and English lives? If there are some who think that this legislation is necessary to keep China in the war we are certainly on thin ice in the Pacific. If you think that this legislation will be the means of keeping China fighting. you hold the Chinese people much cheaper than I do. It is unfortunate that this bill was introduced. It is untimely and unnecessary. It is one of a succession of attempts to punch the first hole in the immigration dike.
