Their testimony is found on pages 4849. 100101. and so forth. in the printed hearings. Hon. Lewis G. Hines. legislative representative of the American Federation of Labor. also appeared before the Immigration Committee and pointed out the unwisdom of this legislation and voiced the opposition of this great organization to this legislation. All of these witnesses strongly urge that legislation proposing to change our immigration laws should not be considered until after the war is over.
