Yes. I thank my colleague from California. Our subcommittee not only visited places on the west coast but we were in Kansas City and many other places where war industries have been established. and saw at first hand the heavy housing program that confronted them with the great number of immigrant war workers. The Pacific coast is probably harder hit than any other section of the country. but the. problem is by no means limited to the west coast. We find it on the Atlantic coast as well. we find it in the South. and we found it in the Midwestern States.
