I firmly believe that to oppose this bill is to flirt with the lives of thousands of our soldiers and with the future of our country. I am not going to vote to shut out 105 Chinese. I have confidence in this House. Anyone who says this is a wedge to lift the bars on all immigration insults the Hquse and the American people. The American people will not stand for it. But the American people do want a fair deal for China and they want to save the lives of all the American boys possible. Admiral Yarnell. whose testimony is on page that the enactment of this bill will save the lives of our boys.
