Food Administrator of the United States of America. be. and they are hereby. memorialized to enter into negotiations which will. for the duration of the current emergency. permit the citizens of Mexico residing in proximity to the borders of the United States to enter the United States freely for the purpose of engaging in agricultural pursuits. without the necessity of making application personally in Mexico City. and be It further Resolved. That Hon. Cordell Hull. Secretary of State. and Hon. Earl G. Harrison. Director of Immigration. be and they are hereby requested to make such adjustment in the immigration regulations of the United States as will. for the duration of the current emergency. facilitate the free ingress and egress of such Mexican citizens for the purpose of engaging in agricultural pursuits. and be it further Resolved. That the chief clerk of the assembly transmit copies of this resolution to Hon. Cordell Hull.
