I tell you right now that I do not think any man can justify his vote against it. We are at war. and we must protect our home front. We must protect our soldiers who are fighting and dying and their families at home from saboteurs and spies. whether they are aliens or naturalized citizens. It is our duty under the Constitution to protect our civilian population while our soldiers and sailors are defending us at the front. Now. it has been argued a number of times. "Well. you bring them in here by going before the Congress and getting the power to bring them in." Well.
