Then there will come a great demobilization of people who have come not only to Washington but to Philadelphia. to the navy yards. to the arsenals. and to the areas where war work has brought concentration and congestion. Then. of course. there will remain the housing in Washington. D. C. There will be some dormitories. There will be private housing. thousands and thousands of units which have been built and which are being built at the present time to accommodate the great immigration of workers who are working for Uncle Sam. Then what? Well. it will be a good time before we enter too far into the field. to plan so that foresight and hindsight will have a speaking acquaintance with each other before it is over.
