Many of these people. although born in the United States. have been denied employment in defense plants and other industries because they could not produce a birth certificate. and in many cases these men are World War veterans. Aliens who become citizens by naturalization receive a certificate. They have no difficulty in proving their citizenship. Why should not nativeborn citizens be given the same privilege?
