Mr. Chairman. is an opportunity for American labor to be permitted to work in an American way. American labor has stood opposed to the immigration of these rascals from abroad who are here trying to disrupt our defense program. and I do not want to see American labor or any American citizen reduced to serfdom and slavery through the domination of dictators across the seas. whatever their particular and peculiar brand of hostility to democracy and freedom may be. We have not yet been called upon for much in the way of sacrifice. The greatest sacrifice has been made by these fine American boys who have gone to the various camps.
