Then. perhaps. you will not feel so offended when oldline Americans rise in this House and demand that we protect our country against such infiltrations as we have seen in the last few years. I went through this battle in 1924 when we were passing the immigration law. We heard the same cry "alien baiting." because. forsooth. we were trying to pass a law to protect America. and if it had been properly enforced from 1924 to the present time. you would not have had all this communistic Infiltration you have had for the last few years. We are spending money to protect America.
