He served two enlistments in the Philippine Islands. and then was one of the men who was asked by the Army to remain thereafter. He has two honorable discharges from the Army. After leaving the Army he went into business. He has never applied for or accepted a pension. although he is entitled by law to a pension. He is a successful businessman. He now wants to become a citizen of the United States. The only way he can do so is to be allowed to enter this country as a permanent resident and then apply for his citizenship. He is here at the present time on a visitors visa.
