I do not know the facts about the joint resolution. I am not a member of the committee. and I am not aware of the amount involved. I do not think. however. that that would really change my view. I made a suggestion simply in view of the hope expressed that the Finnish Government could preserve its record of debt payment. I should be willing to place in the section. making .an appropriation for refugees in Europe which has already been agreed to as a part of House Joint Resolution 544. the unfinished business. a sum much larger than the amount indicated by the junior Senator from Michigan.
