Here today is an opportunity to translate into action the verbal protests which have been rising from all over America. We are called upon to answer a universal demand. Failure to take decisive. affirmative action to rid this country of undesirable aliens will meet the condemnation which it deserves. A vote against this bill today will properly be construed as a license to these undesirable alien elements to pursue their dirty work of striking down America from the rear. I cannot overemphasize the importance of this vote and .what it means to the security of our Nation. It is a direct step. a bold action. to route the enemy within.
