Mr. Speaker. I am informed that in my absence yesterday some criticism was made to the effect that the rule making in order the consideration of the bill providing for the deportation of Harry Bridges was not filed. I desire to say that this rule has been delayed for a couple of days because we have now 10 rules that have been reported. and on which no action has been taken. I knew that we have conference reports before us and other extremely important legislation that the House desires to consider. and I knew there was no chance of calling up that rule. consequently I delayed giving it to the gentleman from Mississippi .
